  • Cultural Critical Friend

    scissors

A critical friend can be defined as a trusted person who asks provocative questions, provides data to be examined through another lens, and offers critiques of a person’s work as a friend. A critical friend takes the time to fully understand the context of the work presented and the outcomes that the person or group is working toward. The friend is an advocate for the success of that work.

As a Cultural Critical Friend, I will evaluate your institutions current situation, with an emphasis on ensuring a kid friendly environment.  Social media uses will also be evaluated and discussed to ensure you are using this very important networking tool to the best of your ability.

I will challenge the current status and ask provocative and reflective questions that will help you extend and question thinking and offer alternative solutions.  I will bring operational ideas from other areas that will help build relationships and improve cohesion around the institution focus.
